The hunt will be hosted by the Caldwell Ranch in Jeff Davis County Texas. This hunt will be a ‘locate and stalk’ for free ranging animals. There will be no ‘box binds’ or ‘deer feeders.’ The only animals permitted to be harvested are white tail deer, aoudad and feral pigs. No predators or birds will be harvested on this hunt. The hunting terrain on this ranch is beautiful West Texas Mountain country. The elevation is approximately 5700-foot above sea level, and it is rugged terrain. Please have vehicle fully fueled upon arriving at ranch gate. Parent and Youth considered for this hunt will need to be in very good physical condition, willing to sleep in a tent and willing to hike mountainous terrain. The hunts will be stalking animals by foot not from vehicles. There is a high probability that animals harvested will need to be quartered and packed out of hunting area. If you are interested in this type hunting apply as soon as possible there only be 4 hunters on this hunt.
